About

‘Little StoryPlace is an idea mart...’

We link writers and illustrators looking for new ideas. Many illustrators or graphic designers have ideas lying around - old sketches, pieces of artwork or media that have the potential to be used towards projects.  On the flip side, there are writers with unfinished work who may need help putting together designs. That is where ‘Little StoryPlace’ comes in.

Creatives upload their ‘brief’ which may either be a design illustration or the first 50 words of a story.

Platform users then bid to the creatives to enter a gig to complete the unfinished work by contributing either illustrations or writing a story.

In this way, a simple sketch could be transformed into a complete illustrated book. Or, an unfinished story can be paired with an illustrator. Designs uploaded to this platform have the potential to become a new ‘little’ story.

How does this platform benefit the Creative?

Many  illustrators have ideas lying around - old sketches, pieces of artwork or media that have the potential to be used towards projects. Finding ways to utilise these designs can often be difficult. That is where ‘Little StoryPlace’ comes in. Designs uploaded to this platform have the potential to become a new story - a new project. As a creative, you put forth the initial idea through submitting your short story or design. Then you wait to see the ideas for your submission come through and pick your favoured one.  You get rewarded to develop an idea that you initiated.
